He has a popular solo weekly residency at the Bishop Hotel & Bottle Shop. In 2025\, he was a resident artist at Doe Bay Resort & Retreat on Orcas Island\, and he is the 2026 Artist-in-Residence at Cellar Cat in Kingston\, WA. \nTrio Santiago plays all original music\, in a fusion of compass points in the world of jazz\, classical\nand Americana – founded on rhythms that emerged from music studies and extended travels\nin the Andes\, Central America and the American Southwest. This May\, Trio Santiago unveils its\nnew suite of original work\, written and recorded during the winter months. Composer\, vocalist\nand guitarist\, tomás santiago ehrlichman\, is a world citizen who likes to time travel to explore\nand understand the way of life of people in ancient cultures. He is blessed to be joined in Trio\nSantiago by the extraordinary talents of Sammy J. Watson on drums and Jonas Myers on bass.

DESCRIPTION:The Quilcene Lantern is proud to present Jazz Night at the Lantern\, featuring Kelsey Mines and Chris Icasiano! \nTICKETS HERE\n6pm doors//7pm music \n$12 advance//$20 at the door \nKelsey Mines is a bassist\, vocalist and composer that premiers new original music that seeks to intersect activism\, community and art. Born and raised in Seattle\, Kelsey grew up on the music made in the Pacific Northwest. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Double Bass Performance from the University of Washington\, and a Master of Music in Double Bass Performance from Arizona State University. A recipient of the Holland Scholarship\, Kelsey followed her passion for the double bass to the Netherlands\, where she studied at Prince Claus Conservatoire before returning to Seattle where she has fully established herself as an important voice in the scene as both a performer and educator. \nSince 2017\, she has contributed to over a dozen records as a bassist; toured nationally and internationally with orchestras\, experimental\, jazz and pop bands alike; been a featured artist in several local music settings including the Earshot Jazz Festival\, Wayward Music Series\, and the Ballard Jazz Festival. In 2019 Kelsey received the Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Award for Emerging Artist and won the inaugural Call for Composers commission in 2022. Kelsey currently teaches at Cornish College of the Arts. \nChristopher Icasiano is a Filipinx-American percussionist and composer from Redmond\, WA. Based now in Seattle\, he has been performing and touring professionally for over 15 years. His specialization in free-improvisation and experimental music combined with his vast experience with pop and rock have made him a highly sought after collaborator in all genres of music. Christopher currently tours with Fleet Foxes\, Pure Bathing Culture\, as a solo artist & with his long-standing drum and saxophone duo Bad Luck.
